ORCHIDE onboard orchestration platform
This project focuses on orbital software research program.
ORCHIDE developed an AI-enabled, hardware-agnostic orchestration platform for processing data onboard satellites, including a unikernel application SDK and simulation environment. The EU-funded program ended in May 2026, with results continuing through ORION. The official results do not identify a launched ORCHIDE spacecraft or demonstrate an operational commercial service.
