This project focuses on planning a constellation of satellites for computing in space.
Oriental Tiansuan leads the Mingzhu shared space-computing infrastructure plan. Shanghai reported that its precursor Dongfang Tiansuan / Star Era-44 launched on October 14, 2026 within Xingsuan group 02. Six satellites in that shared batch carried its self-developed computing payloads, described as about 2 PFLOPS peak with 16 TB storage each. These are hardware ratings, not measured orbital results or six additional spacecraft. The wider global network remains planned.
