NEXT MILESTONE

Q4 2027 flight target

Manual review 29 Oct 2026. Compared the August 24 Sophia supplier release, Q4 2027 target, Spherical relationship and saved TILE architecture. Athena remains a planned shared-computing demonstration with passive radiative cooling and a tailored EPS and battery architecture. Numerical compute, memory, power and thermal limits are not disclosed, and the separate Apex demonstration is not assumed to be Athena. Primary body last observed 23 Oct, 00:40 UTC. Source monitoring: ongoing. Source collection and substantive profile review are separate checks. Plans and dates may change.

WHAT REMAINS UNKNOWN
  • Athena contract value and numerical compute, storage and power specifications
  • Confirmed launch booking, launcher and exact date within the Q4 2027 target
  • Validated in-orbit performance and results of passive cooling, compute and storage demonstrations
  • Whether the unnamed Apex Nova 2027 TILE demonstration is Athena or a separate mission
  • Mission-specific financing, paying customers and procurement allocation beyond Spherical EPS and batteries
